We offer customizations to any shelf, including rounded corners, plate grooves, and channels for LED lighting. Shelf customization is $50 per shelf. Once ordered, please email us at Ben@shelfexpression.net for further details.

Yes! we do have a $50/shelf charge for routering. This will also include a hole drilled through the back of the shelf for wiring.

We recommend placing two shelves butted up against each other in the corner. It creates a clean, seamless ‘L’ shape while keeping the strength and style of our floating shelves.

Due to our small shop, please allow 4-5 weeks for production time. We ship via UPS Ground. Once we ship, please allow an additional 2 days shipping to east coast addresses, and 5-6 days to west coast addresses.
White Oak Floating Shelves
White oak is one of the most popular furniture grade woods used in the US and is associated with traditional, craftsman and mission style furniture. Its high durability and unique grain pattern make it a contender as being one of the easiest species to recognize.
Its open grain makes this an easy hardwood to stain, and allows us to get a little more creative with stain choices. It'll look great either stained to closely match your other furniture, or sealed with a clear, natural finish. If you'd like to apply your own stain, we do offer the ability to purchase these white oak floating shelves unfinished as well.
